Upbeat Recreational Centre Review

Upbeat Recreational Centre Review

If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to combine a trampoline park, virtual reality haven, and a place where adults can legitimately act like kids again without judgment, you’re in for a treat.

Let’s bounce right into the review of one of Lagos’ most vibrant playground – Upbeat Recreation Centre.

First off, yes, this is West Africa’s first trampoline park, and they’re pretty proud of it. Located in Lekki Phase 1, it’s where gravity takes a coffee break and your inner child goes “WHEEEEE!” approximately every 5 minutes.

What Makes It Special?

– They’ve somehow managed to make fitness fun (a miracle worthy of documentation)

– It’s a legitimate excuse to act like a kid again

– There’s a restaurant (BeatBitesLagos) for when all that jumping makes you hungry

– They welcome over 100,000 visitors per year (that’s a lot of bouncing)

At Upbeat Recreation Centre, it’ll cost you ₦7,500 for an hour of trampoline jumping. And because they know you’re probably thinking “just five more minutes!” like a kid at bedtime, they offer a second hour at ₦6,750.

For ₦13,000, you can get the ALL ACCESS package, which includes an hour of trampoline jumping, 5 minutes of virtual reality (just enough time to forget you’re actually in Lagos), and an hour of basketball.

Other activities include: Virtual Car Racing, Mortal Kombat or FIFA, Karaoke, Dizzy Spin, Video Arcade, Wall Climbing, Foam Pit, Soft Basketball, Dodgeball, Vault and Jump, and more.

The Bottom Line

If you’re looking for a place where you can literally bounce off the walls without getting arrested, Upbeat is your spot. It’s where fitness meets fun, and where “I’m too old for this” meets “Watch me do a backflip!”

Whether you’re 2 or 82, there’s something here for everyone – just remember to wear the grip socks (₦2,500).

So, if you’re in Lagos and wondering “Should I adult today?” The answer is no. Head to Upbeat instead. Your inner child will thank you, even if your muscles won’t the next day.

Operating Hours: 12pm – 9pm

Location: 11 Admiralty Rd, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos Nigeria.
