4 Lagos Beaches Where Entry is Less Than ₦3k

Hey You, Yes You, Let’s Talk Broke but Boujee Beaching!

Let’s be honest, beaching in Lagos can feel like you need a trust fund, a sugar daddy, or both. But what if I told you there are actually some beaches where you can vibe, snap pictures, enjoy the ocean breeze, and still have enough money left for shawarma?

Yes, miracles happen.

We found four budget-friendly beaches in Lagos where the entry fee is less than ₦3,000 (no, this is not a drill). So, if your account balance is currently giving “dear customer” vibes, this post is your survival kit.

Paradise Beach Resort

Paradise is real. It’s not in the clouds. It’s in Okun Ajah.

This beach has everything you need: a pool, comfy rooms, horse riding, lawn tennis, and a nightclub for the “outside” folks. And it’s just a short walk from Atican Beach and Santa Cruz. You’re basically surrounded by sand and serenity.

The best part? Entry is free from Monday to Thursday. On weekends, it’s ₦2,000. Add ₦2,000 for pool access (₦1,000 for kids), and you’re in paradise, literally. Food starts from ₦8,000, so maybe eat before you go unless you’re rolling in cash or you plan to split a plate with four friends (no judgment).

Pro tip: Go midweek. Thank us later.

Barracuda Beach Resort

Barracuda Beach Resort is another chill spot in Ajah, and it’s not just cute, it actually has things to do. From horse rides to table tennis and game nights, there’s enough fun to distract you from your inbox and existential dread.

Entry is budget-friendly, and for ₦2,000, you get pool access too. Just know that if you’re bringing your own jollof and drinks, they’ll charge corkage fees. Fair enough, we’re on their turf. Their restaurant also serves solid meals, so if you’re not in the mood to sneak in that take-away plate from yesterday, you’re covered.

Bonus: It’s giving “soft life on a budget.”

Santa Cruz Private Beach

Santa Cruz is for the lowkey ones. Located in Lekki, this beach is not here to impress you with aesthetics, it just wants you to come, breathe, and forget that someone yelled at you in traffic this morning.

Entry is just ₦1,000, and there are rooms for overnight stays if you decide to extend your peace of mind. You can also bring your own food and drinks for a small extra fee (again, hide it well or pay the price).

Decor might not be screaming luxury, but the beach itself is lovely. And let’s be honest, the ocean doesn’t care if there’s LED lighting or not. She’s here to heal you.

West Side Beach Resort

West Side Beach is another Okun Ajah location giving Lagosians a break from stress, for just ₦1,000. Yes, the same amount you spent on zobo last night.

Bring your own food and drinks (they might charge corkage based on quantity, so maybe don’t carry coolers like you’re opening a canteen), and enjoy beach vibes without burning a hole in your pocket.

Want to swim? That’ll be ₦2,000. Want to party overnight? They’ve got you. Just note that their apartments aren’t fully ready, so maybe don’t show up with pajamas just yet.

Final Thoughts: Sand, Sun, and Small Budgets

Lagos may be expensive, but your fun doesn’t have to be. Whether you’re looking for soft life, cheap thrills, or just somewhere to wear that swimsuit you bought during Black Friday sales, these beaches have you covered.

So round up the gang, grab that cooler (respectfully), and beach like you’re on a budget, because you are, and that’s okay.
