Flyboarding at Tarkwa Bay Will Make You Believe You Can Fly

If you’ve ever wanted to feel like Iron Man without the billionaire bank account (or the enemies), Flyboard Nigeria is your golden ticket. Located at The Boatyard in Lekki Phase 1 and at Tarkwa Bay Beach, this spot has been turning regular Lagosians into water superheroes for over three years — and yes, you don’t even need to know how to swim.

At Flyboard Nigeria, the mission is simple: get you wet, get you laughing, and make your day unforgettable. Whether you’re soaring high on a Flyboard, zipping across the water on a Jetski, or holding on for dear life on a Towable, one thing is guaranteed, you’ll leave with memories and maybe slightly sore arms (worth it).

Now, for the nervous folks who are already calculating their swimming skills, relax. They provide life jackets that will have you floating like Agege bread in hot tea, and lifeguards are always on standby. The only thing you’ll be drowning in is fun.

They’re open 9 AM to 7 PM daily, but here’s the catch: you need to pre-book on weekdays. On weekends, you can walk in, but it’s Lagos, so availability is like fuel scarcity: don’t push your luck.

Getting there is easy too. Just head to The Boatyard in Lekki Phase 1, or if you’re feeling extra adventurous, take a ₦2,000 boat ride from NIWA Jetty in CMS to Tarkwa Bay. Consider it the warm-up act before the main water show.

Think of it as therapy, but louder, wetter, and way more Instagrammable. You’ll laugh, scream, fall, get back up, and maybe even discover your alter ego as the “Aquaman of Tarkwa Bay.”

So, if you’ve been searching for a sign to add something wild to your Lagos bucket list, this is it. Fly, ride, splash, repeat.

Pro Tip: Book in advance. Lagos people don’t play when it comes to weekend enjoyment.
