Noir Lagos: Paris Moved to Lagos and Brought Wine

Noir Lagos is that restaurant that said, “Let’s give them Paris, but with pepper.”

Perched at 4A Akin Olugbade Street in Victoria Island, Noir is that spot where everything looks like money but still feels like home. It’s French-inspired, sure but don’t let that intimidate you. The people are warm, the food is flavorful, and the drinks? Let’s just say if your crush doesn’t say yes after a cocktail at Noir, they were never meant for you.

From their cozy VIP lounge to the outdoor terrace where the breeze is always on soft settings, Noir is built for lovers of ambience. And if you’re one of those people who judge restaurants by their wine list (as you should), you’ll be happy to know their cellar is stocked and their mixologists do not come to play.

Speaking of wine, Wednesdays are sacred at Noir, Wine Down Wednesdays starts at 6:30 PM and feels like therapy, but with cheese and champagne. There’s a charcuterie board so fancy, your Instagram will thank you, and you even get a complimentary glass of wine (because Noir loves you).

Now let’s talk food. If you’ve never had a duck breast drizzled in zesty orange vinaigrette, have you really lived? And don’t get us started on their BBQ Chicken Platter, a spicy, smoky, juicy love letter to chicken lovers. It comes with grilled peri-peri lap, chili mint shish kebabs, crispy drumstick lollipops, fluffy rice, sweet potato sides, and enough sauce to make you weep tears of joy.

Planning something special? Noir’s private dining space is perfect for romantic proposals, top-secret business meetings, or a birthday party you want people to talk about for years. And if you want to take the Noir magic home, their catering game is strong enough to make your guests think you trained in Paris.

Noir Lagos is open every day from 12 noon to 11 PM. It’s where you wine, dine, and maybe fall in love, even if it’s just with the food.
