My Visit to Nourie: Here Was What Happened
Yesterday, I finally visited Nourie, and honestly… I’m still thinking about that experience.
From the moment I walked in, I could tell that this wasn’t just another kitchen—it felt like a place where food, creativity, and excellence meet. The first thing that caught my eye was the modern kitchen setup. Stainless steel counters, neatly arranged cooking stations, clean surfaces everywhere, and a smooth flow of work—everything looked organized to perfection. You can instantly sense that they take hygiene and professionalism very seriously.
As the team continued their operations, I noticed something else—everything was running so smoothly. No rushing, no shouting, no confusion… just a well-coordinated system. Everyone knew what they were doing, and they were doing it with joy on their faces. You could literally feel the passion in the room.
Then came the best part: the food.
I ordered soft semo and egusi soup, and listen… that first scoop almost made me close my eyes. The semo was unbelievably soft—the kind that melts gently when it enters your mouth. And the egusi? Oh my God! Rich. Flavorful. Perfectly seasoned. It had that home-cooked feel, but elevated with real culinary expertise. I found myself smiling while eating because it tasted like something lovingly prepared.
While eating, I got the chance to meet the team members, and they were all incredibly welcoming. Friendly faces, warm greetings, and genuine excitement to share what they do—it honestly made the experience feel very personal. You can tell these people love their work.
I also took a short tour around the kitchen, and the more I walked around, the more impressed I became. Everything was neat, organized, and professionally structured. The whole environment was fantastic—calm, clean, and intentionally put together.
By the time I was ready to leave, I already knew one thing for sure:
I’m definitely going back.
My second visit is already on my calendar because Nourie is one of those places you want to experience again and again.
