Closed crates for archiving documents, how airtight are we talking?

Quote

Our office in Deira has about fifteen years worth of old client files and contracts that legally we have to keep but they're currently sitting in those cheap cardboard archive boxes that are slowly disintegrating from the humidity despite the AC running constantly. Found some silverfish damage on a few files last month which was the final straw, I need to get everything into proper sealed storage before we lose something important. Started researching options and honestly didn't realize there were so many industrial grade plastic crate manufacturers out there, a colleague recommended looking for a Quality Closed Crate supplier in Dubai and that led me to the Crateco website. The product range looks promising but I need to understand just how sealed these actually are, like are we talking airtight enough to keep out humidity and insects or just splash proof for warehouse use? Document preservation is the whole point here so if moisture can still seep in around the lid then it doesn't really solve my problem. Also wondering about the interior dimensions, some of our files are legal size which is slightly longer than A4 and I've been caught out before with crates that claim to fit standard documents but have tapered sides that make the actual usable space smaller than advertised. Anyone using these specifically for long term paper storage and can comment on how the contents have held up after a year or two?
