This beautiful spot is located at 3, Obebi Link Road, Ikeja, Lagos state, it is a very good spot for family gatherings, picnics, birthday parties and a lot more. The environment is very clean and serene and has a wonderful pond, a silent garden and even a mini zoo. Its colorful and beautiful atmosphere makes it a great place to visit.
The Upsides
The park offers an incredible experience for visitors of all ages. Whether you are looking for a peaceful retreat or a fun-filled day with your loved ones, this park has something for everyone, It is filled with vibrant colors and has a welcoming atmosphere.
The cleanliness of the toilets at the park is truly impressing, Also, visitors to Dr Oluyomi Abayomi Finnih recreational park will be pleasantly surprised to discover a charming lounge area where they can enjoy a variety of amenities, food and beverages, and for adults there are also options for alcoholic beverages and shisha.
The Downsides
We noticed a couple of downsides during our visit. Firstly, it was disappointing to see that the pond in the park was quite dirty. It seemed like it had not been properly maintained, this is unfortunate as a clean and well-maintained pond adds to the overall beauty and ambience of the park.
Another aspect that could be improved upon is the restroom facilities. While they were functional, it would be beneficial if they were equipped with hand washing essentials like sanitiser and soap. Proper hygiene is essential, especially in public spaces like parks where many people gather daily, making these essentials readily available would ensure that visitors can maintain proper hygiene and prevent the spread of germs.
