Enraged Reda Battle Tactics for Aion 2

Quote

Core Combat Tactics

1. Manage Mob Summons
Once Reda drops below 50% HP, he starts summoning mobs continuously. These adds aren’t harmless—they hit hard. Kill them immediately. If too many pile up, their combined damage can quickly overwhelm your healing.

2. Dodge AoE Attacks
Reda loves his area-of-effect (AoE) skills. Stay on the move at all times to avoid taking massive damage. Learn his attack patterns so you can anticipate red zones and dodge them effectively while keeping your DPS going.

3. Animation Canceling
Maximize your DPS by weaving in primary attacks (LMB/RMB on PC) between skill casts. This animation canceling lets you deal more damage without staying stationary and vulnerable.

Preparation Checklist

  • Activate Power Shards: Press 'B' to toggle power shards. They boost your damage significantly, and forgetting them can make this fight a nightmare.
  • Buff Maintenance: Use all relevant scrolls and potions before the fight. Attack speed, casting speed, and healing buffs will keep you alive.
  • Gear Check: Make sure you have your best-level gear equipped. Distribute your skill points and Daevanion skills properly to suit your role.
  • Platform Choice: Many players find the PC version easier for dodging fast attacks, though mobile is doable if you’re careful.

Class-Specific Tips

  • Melee (Gladiators/Greatswords): Consider facetanking the boss if your gear is strong. Focus on cleaving down adds as they spawn around Reda.
  • Ranged (Squishy Classes): Kiting is your friend. Keep your distance from the mob pack while chipping away at Reda. Stay mobile and pick off adds carefully.

If the fight feels impossible, the simplest solution is to outlevel Reda by a few levels before attempting him again. A small level advantage makes a huge difference in both damage and survivability.

By focusing on mob control, movement, and DPS optimization, you’ll find that Enraged Reda is challenging but beatable. Remember: patience and preparation beat rushing any day.
