The car meet is not explicitly pinned with a massive glowing icon from afar, but it is easy to find once you know the landmarks. Head over to the eastern half of the Hokubu Region. You are looking for the coast right along the eastern edge of the Hokubu Time Attack Circuit.
If you open up your world map, look for the Irabuohashi Bridge sign. Scroll just slightly north of that landmark along the coastal road, and you will find the designated car meet area waiting for you.
Step-by-Step Completion Guide
Completing the event only takes a couple of minutes once you are in the right spot. Just follow these steps:
Select an '80s Ride: Open up your main menu and head to the Change Car screen. To save yourself some scrolling, filter or sort your vehicle collection by Year. Jump straight down to the 1980s section and grab any vehicle from that era. If you are early in the game and haven't built up a massive garage yet, don't worry: the Nissan Silvia K’s that you receive right at the start of the game works perfectly for this challenge.
Drive to the Meet: Once you are sitting behind the wheel of your chosen 1980s car, set a waypoint or fast travel out to the Hokubu Circuit location on the eastern coast.
Park and Trigger the Completion: Pull into the car meet area and drive your car directly into any of the open parking spaces. Once your car is settled in the spot, an onscreen button prompt will pop up asking you to join the meet. Hit that button to submit your vehicle. The game will instantly register the event, and you will see the "Sweet Car O' Mine" daily challenge pop up as completed.
