If you have been tracking down side quests in Arc Raiders, you’ve likely run into the Fragmented Logs quest. It requires you to drop into the Stella Montis map and interact with three specific terminals spread across different areas. It sounds simple enough on paper, but navigating the map while managing your inventory and dodging aggressive ARC machines can get tricky if you don't know exactly where to go.

The good news is that this quest is highly flexible. You do not have to hit all three terminals in a single deployment, and the order in which you complete them doesn't matter at all. Progress carries over across multiple different runs, making it much less stressful than it initially looks.

Required Preparation

Before you queue up and launch your raid, make sure you pack at least 1 Electrical Component in your inventory. You will absolutely need this to repair one of the faulty terminals.

• Forgot to bring one? Don't panic and exit the match. You can still salvage your run by scavenging during the raid. Look for destroyed droids or hunt down items like a wasp, phone, or driver, and recycle them to get the component you need on the fly.

• Keep in mind: Because progress saves dynamically, feel free to spread these steps out across multiple runs if the heat gets too intense.

Step 1: Repair the Sandbox Control Room Terminal

Your first objective takes you straight to the Robotic Sandbox area, which is situated on the bottom layer of the Stella Montis map.

1. Head down into the Robotic Sandbox area and look for the elevated control rooms.

2. You can go into the room overlooking Sandbox A, or head over to room B3 on the ground floor right next to the massive ramp.

3. Walk to the back of the room to locate the out-of-service computer terminal.

4. Interact with the terminal. This will automatically consume the Electrical Component from your inventory and get the faulty unit back up and running.

Step 2: Enable the Sandbox Power Conduit

Don't leave the Robotic Sandbox area just yet. The second terminal task is located right along the perimeter walls of the same sector.

1. Move toward the outer edges of the sandbox area to find the conduit backrooms.

2. Look specifically for Control Room A3, which is tucked away on the northeastern side of the perimeter.

3. Step inside the backroom and scan the walls or the spaces between the server racks.

4. Locate the main power switch lever and pull it. This activates the switch and officially powers up the mainframe.

Step 3: Boot the Cultural Archives Terminal

For the final piece of the puzzle, you will need to migrate over to the eastern side of the Stella Montis map to visit the Cultural Archives. Be extra careful here—this sector is notorious for heavy ARC machine spawns, so keep your eyes open and stay geared for a fight.

1. Make your way into the Cultural Archives building and push deep into the service backrooms located in the far corner.

2. Search for a small side room packed with server cabinets and a distinct desk console.

3. Approach the console and interact with the terminal to successfully boot it and bring the panel online.

Quest Completion & Rewards

The best part about the Fragmented Logs quest is how it saves your progress. The second you interact with the third and final terminal, the quest instantly registers as finished. You do not need to extract safely to keep your progress. Even if an ARC squad catches you off guard right after hitting the last button, your hard work is already locked in.

Once completed, you can claim your rewards back at base:
