BamBoa Lounge Lagos Review

There are places you go to eat, and there are places you go to hang out. Then there is BamBoa Lounge, where you go to do both without stress.

BamBoa calls itself a tropical day club, and that description is accurate. The moment you step in, you notice the greenery, the warm textures, and the easy lighting. It feels open and calm. You forget, for a moment, that you are still in Lagos traffic territory.

This is not a loud, chaotic lounge. It is a relaxed, stylish space where the music flows, the food is serious, and the vibe is effortless.

The Atmosphere: A Soft Escape in the City

BamBoa was built to feel like an escape. The design leans into nature. Plants, wood tones, and soft lighting create a warm setting that works for both day and evening visits.

Afternoons here feel like a chill brunch spot. Evenings slowly grow into a lively social scene. You do not notice the shift. It happens naturally with the rhythm of the day.

If you like places where you can sit for hours without feeling rushed, this is one of them.

The Drinks: Tropical, Fun, and Properly Mixed

The cocktail menu matches the vibe. Everything feels fruity, bold, and playful.

Some standouts include:

  • Jungle Vibe – Whiskey meets pineapple, Campari, and passionfruit
  • Twisted Mai Tai – Spiced rum, orange juice, and a touch of dry red wine
  • Heavy Duty – For people who like their drinks strong and honest
  • Tequila Sunrise and Aperol Spritz for lighter, easy sipping
  • Strawberry Daiquiri for the sweet cocktail lovers

Prices range from ₦15,000 to ₦18,500, and the mixes are balanced, not watered down.

The Food: This Menu Came to Impress

BamBoa’s menu is wide. Pizza, sushi, grills, pasta, burgers, platters, salads, and desserts all show up here. You can visit five times and still try something new.

Pizza Worth Talking About

Options like The Yaji Chicken pizza, Truffle pizza, Pepperoni, and La Margherita Classica bring Italian style with some Nigerian personality. The Yaji Chicken pizza, especially, is a conversation starter.

Sushi and Small Plates

The Spicy Tuna Sushi, Crunchy California Roll, and Crispy Prawn Maki are great for light bites. The Teriyaki Chicken Skewers and Yaji Beef Suya also stand out as small plates that carry big flavour.

Main Courses That Mean Business

If you are hungry, BamBoa is ready for you.

  • Wagyu Beef Burger
  • Lamb Chops
  • Norwegian Salmon
  • Seafood Pasta
  • Spicy Chicken Alfredo
  • Surf & Turf (Beef Fillet and Prawns)

And then there is the dramatic one: Chop My Money, a tomahawk steak served with jollof rice, fries, salad, and sauce. It is large, loud and not for shy eaters.

Platters for Groups

The Fork It Platter is perfect for sharing. It comes loaded with chicken skewers, prawns, lamb chops, suya, fish, spring rolls, sides, and sauces.

Who BamBoa Is Perfect For

  • Group hangouts with friends
  • Date afternoons that turn into evening vibes
  • Birthdays and casual celebrations
  • People who like food, music, and comfort in one place
  • Anyone tired of overly noisy lounges

Final Thoughts

BamBoa Lounge understands something many places miss. Not every outing in Lagos needs to be loud. Some can be calm, stylish, and still very fun.

You come here to relax, eat well, sip slowly, and enjoy good company. It feels like a short vacation without leaving the city.
